What does the lifetime guarantee on Binocle Extreme mean?

The frames of these sunglasses are made from polycarbonate, an ultra-flexible material that is virtually impossible to break. And if you're a warrior and can manage it, send an email to sos@binocle.com, as the frames come with a lifetime guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover scratches on the lenses.

Are Extreme models really virtually unbreakable?

That's right, our Binocle Extreme frames are made from polycarbonate, a highly flexible and resistant material. Its clip-on and clip-off hinge system means that the frame only needs to be removed, rather than breaking.

This feature is only available on the Extreme range.

Why are lenses not covered under the guarantee?

The lenses of any pair of glasses can be scratched if they are used incorrectly. If the glasses are cleaned regularly and stored in their pouch (supplied with them), then there is no reason for the lenses to get scratched.

How do I maintain my Binocle?

We advise you to clean your glasses regularly using a suitable product and the cloth sewn into your Binocle bag.

Avoid leaving your glasses on the dashboard of your car in direct sunlight.
